Aquatic Bodywork, also known as Watsu, or water-shiatsu, is a massage received while floating with support in a heated pool. Your tight muscles will immediately begin to relax in the warm water and your joints will gradually open and move freely. There is no pressure on your spine, allowing it to open and release.
My clients love the relief they feel from pain, stiffness and emotional tension as I both gently and dynamically stretch, massage and swirl them through the water.
Watsu (water-shiatsu) is perfect for conditions such as arthritis, fibromyalgia, post-stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, and more. Pregnant women love the weightless feeling of floatation and their babies feel right at home!
